Bragg Hill Community Garden

We started with a vision to transform a vacant piece of land into a vibrant community green space. Two years later, with the help of the Fredericksburg Department of Parks and Recreation, the University of Mary Washington, the Community Foundation, and community members, it became a reality.

The Bragg Hill Community Garden has 22 plots that are 10 ft x 20 ft. It is located on Fall Hill Avenue, near Snowden Park Playground. Nurture flowers and grow your own food on a private plot, enjoy our shared garden outside the fenced area, sit and eat on the picnic tables, or find a space to meet with members of the community.
